The bodice is lined with muslin. You can not even tell that I am wearing a BLACK bra under it because LINING! The skirt is not lined because there's plenty of fabric down there.
And it has POCKETS! Every dress and skirt ever made should always have pockets.
I got this fabric for TWO DOLLARS PER YARD at Discount Fabrics. That place effing rocks.
Also, the front and back are identical. Which is awesome because it means I don't have to worry about putting my clothes on backwards. This is a particularly important trait for this dress, since I feel an overwhelming urge to play the part of a self-medicating hausfrau when wearing it.
