In case you missed our tweet, here's a quick reminder that we are open today AND tomorrow, in case you need some super-last-minute Christmas gifts for the knitter in YOUR life. Or maybe you just need to escape the chaos at home for an hour to come hang out with us.

Christmas Day (Tomorrow!) 3pm-7pm

Drop by and vote for your favourite ornament in our ornament contest! You have until Monday to vote!

In case you're wondering, we will be open our usual hours New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. 

New Year's Eve (next Friday) 12-8pm

New Year's Day (next Saturday) 12-7pm

...though if you're all out partying, we may close early on New Year's Eve, so you'd better quick make plans to ring in the Nova Scotia new year with us at 8pm! What better way to celebrate New Year's in the chilly north than with knitting and crochet!

UPDATE: Tiny garments!

UPDATE: Deadline extended, bring your ornaments in before Sunday!

In a recent Knitnews we announced an extra little something for this holiday season:

For our tree this holiday season, we'll be featuring hand-knit and crochet ornaments! The theme this year will be tiny garments - so get to work miniaturizing sweaters, hats, stockings, socks, shoes, pants, mittens, lingerie - whatever it is, so long as it's a teeny tiny version of something to wear. Each ornament contributed before December 12th December 19th (deadline extended!) will be eligible to win a prize - a $20 gift certificate to Clever Knits! Winner will be selected by popular vote (ornaments will be anonymized when submitted), so make yours the very best. Voting will be held December 20-27, and the winner will be announced at Knitnight on December 28th.

Time flies, and we soon forget, but it's already almost October! Holy crap, when did December get here?!

There are SO MANY free patterns for teeny tiny sweaters and things, or better yet design your own! Just over 2 months remain to get to work with your needle or hook, and bring in something extra-super-special as your entry to win $20 in holiday yarn money!
